WHAT TO EXPECT
Have you been curious about Pilates? RISE up and see for yourself what it’s all about!
If this is your first Pilates session, it may be a bit intimidating to see all the equipment/apparatus. Often times, beginning with an Introductory Package is a great way to get started. Our private sessions and group classes involve using the Mats, Reformers, Tower/Wall Units, Wunda Chairs and additional apparatus. These pieces of equipment use springs to provide guidance and resistance throughout your Pilates workout. Once you learn the fundamentals and groundwork, we continue to build and layer in new exercises with every session. We want you to walk away feeling challenged, strong and energized!
A regular Pilates practice does not stress your body in the ways that lifting weights or other workout methods may, this is why everyone can do it. Your bones will strengthen, your muscles will become toned and firm, and you will look fit. But, most of all, as you work out and begin to feel better physically, we hope you will also begin to feel better mentally. You’ll stand taller, move with more ease, and most importantly feel amazing!
